Ethyl 2,4-dichloro-3-oxobutyrate(ethyl 2,4-dichloroo-3-oxobutyrate) is an organic compound.

- ethyl 2,4-dichloro-3-oxobutyrate is widely used as a chemical synthesis intermediate, mainly used in the synthesis of pesticides and other important raw materials in organic synthesis.
-it can be used for the synthesis of amino acid beads and acid chloride and other organic synthesis reaction.
Preparation Method:
Ethyl 2,4-dichloro-3-oxobutyrate can be synthesized by the following steps:
1. the reaction of acetanilide and chloroacetic acid to generate chlorobutyric acid aniline ester.
2. aniline chlorobutyrate reacts with alcohol to generate ethyl 2,4-dichlororo-3-oxobutyrate.
